Babette

Babette, on Shamai Street, is a Belgian-style waffle bar that has become quite well-known in Jerusalem and the rest of the country. It is one of the best dessert options in town despite offering only variations on the theme of Belgian waffles.

Among the waffle toppings on offer are chestnut cream, coffee cream, sour cream with apple sauce, bitter or white chocolate, and of course whipped cream. You can also try the homemade cocoa, made of real chocolate, recommended with brandy on a cold day.
