Jerusalem & Dead Sea

About

Make the most out of your day trip to Jerusalem, discover its main landmarks, and travel to the Dead Sea, which lays only 30min away.

Your journey starts at Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the Old city, followed by a visit to Dominus Flevit church and Gethsemane Garden. Enter Jerusalem’s Old city from Dung Gate located a short walking distance from the Western Wailing Wall. Walk the narrow cobble road streets of the colorful Muslim Market as you arrive to the Christian quarter, and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Church that marks the place of the crucifixion and burial of Jesus from Nazareth.

Continue walking along the Armenian Quarter where you will take a break for a traditional Middle Eastern lunch before you make way to the Dead Sea.   Relax as you enjoy a scenic drive through the Judean Mountains reveal the lowest place on earth, the Dead Sea.

Take a rare opportunity to pamper yourself the natural way, rejuvenate your skin with the abundant mud on its shoreline, or float in its mineral rich waters. From here you will travel back towards Jerusalem making a stop at Ahava Dead Sea Factory Shop for those of you looking for a great deal on unique Dead Sea Cosmetics and souvenirs before returning to your port of call or your hotel.

Aprox. Duration – 10 Hrs

Please note at religious sites, men and women need to adhere to the dress code and ensure that their knees and shoulders are covered. Bathing suites, hats, sun tan lotion, proper walking and water shoes are highly recommended. Avoid any physical eye contact with the salty waters of the Dead Sea.

I totally recommand taking a Dead sea tour. i believe it will be an adventure. while we were at Israel we took a Jerusalem privte tour and it was truly fantastic. Israel have some amazing spots, and it alows you to feel like you are traveling through memorable places. but you need to understand the stories, so unless you are a walking book, you should think about taking a Jerusalem privte tour http://www.goldcarpet.co.il/customized.aspx
