The Night Spectacular is a magical sound and light show which tells the story of Jerusalem in a blaze of images, characters and sound projected on to the walls of the Tower of David. As dusk embraces the stones of this ancient citadel, audience members are drawn into a multi-sensory journey spanning 4,000 years of history and including the story of King David, the Roman conquest, Muhammad, the Crusaders, and Suleiman the Magnificent, to name just a few of the historic periods covered over a period of 45 minutes.

The Night Spectacular makes use of innovative techniques and sophisticated technology: 20 projectors, 10 video players, 14 computers and 14 speakers.

The show takes place outdoors in the citadel courtyard so it is best to dress warmly. With minimal wording – other than a few biblical verses – it is suitable for speakers of all languages.

It is advisable to purchase tickets in advance.
