Betzalel Cafe
About
Betzalel Cafe was opened several years ago as an alternative to the major coffee house chains. The idea was to open a place where everybody knows your name - a nice, small intimate place. In this respect the place is a success as a regular crowd fill Betzalel Cafe throughout the day.
Among the recommended dishes are the breakfast, which consists of an omelet, cream cheese, Emmental and Saint Maure cheese, vegetable salad, tuna, smoked salmon, muesli, bread, homemade cherry-tomato jam and hot and cold drinks; and the Betzalel toast with feta, Emmental, dried-tomato paste, hard-boiled egg, onion and mushrooms.
Betzalel Cafe has cosy indoor seating or offers al fresco dining on the trendy pedestrianized part of Betzalel Street. The cafe is popular with art students and other creatives.
