Cafe Kadosh
About
Cafe Kadosh was opened in Jerusalem in 1967 by Meir Kadosh, who has since passed the business on to his son, Itzik, and Itzik’s wife, Keren, who currently run both the regular kitchen and the pastry kitchen upstairs.
The cafe is designed in a neat, classic European style that makes for a decidedly old-school atmosphere, and, as Keren says, is a “warm, crowded, homey place.” When it comes to the food, Kadosh offers a kosher dairy menu that includes a variety of fresh pasta dishes, fresh and smoked fish, quiches, lasagnas, salads, sandwiches, baked goods and desserts. What really sets the place apart is that everything is made in-house, from the pasta to the bread to the pastries. Cafe Kadosh was voted number one in an article on Jpost Online "Top 5 Cosiest Coffee Shops":
