By the Rivers of Babylon
The Bible Lands Museum’s premiere exhibition of 2015 tells the story of a family that lived through the Babylonian Exodus, from exile to redemption, told through never-before-seen Babylonian texts, animated movies and a new interactive design.
The BLMJ’s core exhibition explores the peoples, cultures and civilizations of the ancient lands of the Bible. Tour through the galleries and witness the drama of civilizations on the rise such as Egypt, Babylon and Phoenicia.
Explore the roots of monotheism, the origins of the alphabet and understand the importance of Israel in its regional context.

Current special exhibitions
Moshe Zabari Retrospective
Renowned contemporary sculptor and Judaica artist, Moshe Zabari, has been a master craftsman for more than 60 years. The BLMJ retrospective exhibition features selected works from his extensive range of sculptures and ceremonial objects, emphasizing the influence of ancient sources on Zabari’s design.
The exhibition will run from September 9, 2015 through December 2015.
The Classical Court
Stunning display of classical art illustrating the strong influence of Greek culture on the Mediterranean world.
Glories of Ancient Greece
A rare collection of Greek pottery spanning nearly two millennia of history, displaying ancient art from Bronze Age Crete to Classical Athens.
Roman Fresco Room
First century Roman wall paintings from the Italian province of Campania.
