The Train Theater began with just four talented independent puppeteers performing out of a train wagon and has grown exponentially to include annual productions and the International Festival of Puppet Theater. The shows are a visual delight and are aimed at children with subtleties that only adults can appreciate.
The Train Theater has a permanent repertoire of plays which take place at their venue both in the middle of the week and on Saturdays. In addition, it produces street theater in the alleys of Yemin Moshe and the Nachlaot neighborhood, next to the Mahane Yehuda Market. The Train Theater shows also perform all around Israel and participate in important festivals around the world. Drawing by Noa Arad Yairi.
