Symposium on Green and Accessible Pilgrimage
Green Pilgrim Jerusalem is the new way for both visitors and residents to experience, appreciate, and enhance the ancient heritage and the contemporary beautification of Jerusalem.
Green Pilgrim Jerusalem, headed by Jerusalem Deputy Mayor Naomi Tsur and backed by Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat, are hosting the First International Jerusalem Symposium on Green and Accessible Pilgrimage at the Jerusalem YMCA.
The Symposium will showcase Jerusalem's achievements, projects, and plans to create and sustain an eco-friendly, hospitable and accessible environment. It will welcome hundreds of delegates from Israel and around the world, who will come together to share ideas and practices to evolve Jerusalem as a green and sustainable city- environmentally, economically and socially- and to enjoy our program of entertainment and networking opportunities.
The week-long Symposium includes a feast of cultural entertainment for the general public to join and to enjoy. The opening event at the YMCA Auditorium on Sunday 21 April features Vertigo Dance Company, Niggun Yerushalmi, Alisa-Hava and her band, and many more artists. Enjoy Earth Day Eco Cinema at the Tower of David Museum on Monday 22 April. The closing event at the YMCA Auditorium takes place on Wednesday 23 April.
