One of the most popular Broadway musicals in recent history, Hairspray is coming to Jerusalem courtesy of Encore! Educational Theatre. With eight Tony awards to its name and a run of over 2,600 performances, this contemporary show is a hit with the crowds. Furthermore, the 2007 film based on the musical broke the record for biggest sales for an opening of a cinematic musical.
All shows take place at the Masorati High School in Talpiot except for the show on 12th March, which takes place at the Hirsch Theater in the Beit Shmuel complex (tickets at Hirsch Theater cost 100 ILS and 75 ILS for students). Group discounts are available for tickets to all shows.
