La Boca
About
The only South American restaurant in Jerusalem, La Boca takes you on a culinary journey through the continent. Diners can experience the most popular cuisine from several Latin American countries adapted to the Israeli palate, such as Mexican chicken enchiladas and tortilla with red tuna ceviche and a mean Argentinian grilled steak.
Guy Kimchi, the owner and chef, has created a Kosher Mehadrin menu that fuses aromas and tastes and features delicious appetizers, top quality meat dishes typical of South American cuisine, fish and delectable desserts. The meaning of “La Boca” in Spanish is “the mouth” and it's also the name of a famous neighborhood in Buenos Aires, where the tango was born.
Situated on the second floor of an historic Templar house in the trendy German Colony, La Boca offers a business lunch from 11:30 to 17:00 and caters events for up to 140 diners. The special atmosphere makes it an ideal location for taking guests out from abroad or an evening with someone special.
La Boca has an extensive alcohol list, from beers to single malts to margaritas, and also highlights a wine each month. The bar on the balcony facing the street is the perfect place for a drink on a warm summer night.
