Yaffo 23

Yaffo 23 is an art-space owned by the world-renowned Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. It is very hard to define Yaffo 23 as it aims to combine art showcases with academic research as part of the artwork itself. The space is at once a gallery, a conference room, a lab and a studio, making it one of the few of its kind in the world. The term for such very-unique spaces, by the way, is the German word kunsthalle. Yaffo 23 is a non-profit gallery, meaning it is free from the shackles of the art market, while aspiring to the showcasing quality of a museum.
