About the Capitol Hotel

Located just off Salah Eddin Street in east Jerusalem, a mere two-minute walk from the Old City, the Capitol Hotel is a real winner when it comes to location. The 45 rooms are a bit on the basic side, as one would expect from a budget hotel, but all come with satellite TV, individual A/C and en-suite bathrooms and showers. Some of the rooms also feature balconies. One of the Capitol’s best features is the newly renovated bar, a great place to chill out with a drink after a day of heavy touring. The hotel also provides its guests with free Wi-Fi in the lobby. The hotel’s staff is reportedly extremely helpful and accommodating.

Not a friendly hotel for seniors accessibility. Rooms were dirty, unvaccumed. Nevertheless, the front desk assisted us for the TUK TUK.
