St. Andrews Scottish Guesthouse

St. Andrews Scottish Guesthouse

About St. Andrew's Scottish Guesthouse

St. Andrew's Scottish Guesthouse (some refer to it affectionately as “The Scottie”) is a quaint getaway down the road from Jerusalem’s First Station (the renewed old train station), and facing the walls of the Old City. It is set inside the historic St. Andrews Church which was built in the late 1920's as a memorial for the Scottish soldiers killed in World War I. The Scottish Guesthouse provides guests with a warm Christian welcome and traditional Scottish hospitality, offering 19 rooms, some of which are family-sized. Many of the rooms have balconies facing the Old City; others offer views of the church’s secluded garden. Wireless internet and parking are free for guests. The guesthouse is within walking distance of the Old City and Jerusalem’s hip shopping district in the German Colony, on Emek Refaim Street. And just a 20-minute walk uphill and you're at center city's Ben Yehuda Street.
