We were late in booking a hotel for our recent trip to Israel. We found this quirky hotel in a central location and booked it. We stayed for 13 nights. Its location can't be beaten. It is the top story of an office building at the top of Ben-Yehuda Street (Where it meets King George). We traveled with two daughters in their early twenties. They could come and go as they pleased. Almost everywhere in Jerusalem could be accessed from one bus ride from the stop across the street from the building. We were within walking distance of the Old City, Emek Refaim, and the Shuk. My daughter and I even walked to Cinema City one night for a movie. Very safe neighborhood. Lots to do outside the door. We booked a duplex, two-bedroom, 1-1/2 bath unit that supposedly could sleep 6. Luckily we were only 4, as there was no way 6 could last more than one night in that amount of space. The amount of space fit our needs, allowing people to be in different spaces when they need a little time-out. We loved the fact that in lieu of a breakfast spot of their own, they gave out vouchers that we could use at 3 nearby restaurants. Great restaurants too! Now the downside. They cleaned the room every 3-4 days, usually after we bugged them to. We were often left without tissues, toilet paper, and towels. The toilet seat in one bath, which had a repaired crack in it and was in poor shape when we arrived, finally broke two nights before the end of our trip. We told the manager. The cleaning crew came and put the seat back on the toilet, still broken. The hotel fit our needs, but I wouldn't recommend it for most people.

This hotel is not up top homeless standards!!! We should've slept in our rented van. Story starts at our 930 pm arrival...... No answer at hotel no signage and only a dispatch answering service. This is not what anybody could've expected!!!!! We arrive during a hurricane with ZERO customer service. No hospitality. Hotel office was closed!!!!! We parked car in a loading dock and waited for spouse to check out situation by entering building that was desolate. oNLY REDEMPTION HERE WAS THAT THERE WAS A nAME AND PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT A NICE MAN MOSES IF Nobody at hotel desk. Thank god for MOSES!!!!! this hotel (being generous) has no lobby. Its onto of a Dirty guard gated office building in city center (ok its prime real estate).
