It's a good hotel with welcoming staff though it doesn't live up to 4 star rating posted at reception. The hotel have a good restaurant no water provided for the room and it cost to buy bottled water rather you're served with tap water. The amenities are moderate for 3*

About Seven Arches Hotel
The Seven Arches Hotel has one very major advantage over other Jerusalem hotels – it provides one of the best views of the Old City that Jerusalem has to offer. Situated on the summit of the Mount of Olives (southern slope), the Seven Arches directly overlooks the Temple Mount and the hills of Bethlehem and provides easy access to the holy sites for those who aren’t content with just looking.
The Hotel, which was built in 1962, offers an assortment of 196 rooms, a lobby with high-speed internet access, an outdoor tennis court, restaurants, and other amenities. Be sure not to confuse the Seven Arches Hotel, which was formerly known as the Intercontinental, with the Three Arches Hotel in the YMCA.

MoreStayed here as part of a group trip to the Holy Land. Based on the parade of busses outside, it’s apparent that group-stays are this hotels “bread & butter” clientele. The good is the service friendliness. From reception, to housekeeping, to the dining area, everyone that works at sever arches is kind, helpful and genuine. In addition, the views from some of the rooms are quite nice. That’s really where the good stops. This hotel is desperate need of capital improvements and deep cleaning. The rooms are worn down and dirty, the paint is dirty and chipped, there were no bathroom amenities besides a bar of soap and packet of shampoo. The dining room and food quality/taste was just not good. Most likely you are staying here as part of a group, so you can’t change hotels. It’s an ok place to lay your head after a long day touring and the staff will treat you well. But, my tips are, bring slippers for the dirty carpet in the room, bring your bathroom amenities (soap, lotion etc), and bring snacks or eat somewhere else.
