Spent one night at the hostel, between Thursday and Friday. The hostel is costly in my opinion, 406 NIS for the superior room in a hostel is too much, and is nearly the cost of a hotel room. Nonetheless, it is August and Corona time so a lot of people are vacationing in the country. I liked that the hostel is very clean, the room is very pleasant, inviting and well kept (expect for the door, the key jammed a bit, but we managed to fix it by ourselves). The TV has netflix and other popular channels. The room was very well lit, air conditiononing was good. No hot water all the time, need to turn on the boiler 30 min per person but it's no trouble. Bear in mind that there are no private parking spaces for the hostel guests, there is a big parking problem b/c the hostel is situated at the heart of the city, there are only expensive private parking lots in the vicinity and we ended up looking for space for over 40 min until we eventually went to a private parking lot, which cost us 150 NIS from ~00:00 at night until ~17:00 the next day. The hostel location is excellent- next to the Jerusalem light rail way, Jaffa St. And within walking distance from Mahne-Yehuda market. Breakfast is not included since the restaurants stopped their arrangment with hostel, but there are a few restaurants and food places neerby. The night clerk was courtious and pleasant. The hostel did some kind of "happening", but we weren't there in time. Overall the place is neat and clean, good atmosphere, a little pricey but we had a good experince.
