Like all Old city hotels you have to walk to this one so don't take too much luggage! The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the Holy Sepulchre and maybe 10 minutes from the Temple Mount. It is easy to find from either the Damascus or Jaffa gates. nThere are great views of the Dome of the Rock from the roof terrace and breakfast was very good value. Our room was smaller than I'd have locked but it had enough power sockets and wifi was good.nThe only downside for us was the noise - not external noise but the other guests. We stayed 2 nights and both times were woken repeatedly through the night by people shouting and slamming doors. We were always up and gone by 7AM but we were woken between 3 and 5 constantly by inconsiderate guests.

Location is excellent.nnStaff were great in giving us a room early just to shower up and change so we would be in time for Friday prayers. Which was kind of them. However they said they will give me a room with a view; but when I got to the room there was no view. I moaned and he simply said I don’t have views for all rooms.nnBreakfast is good. not the best selection but sufficient. I’m a tea drinker hated the fact I had to go to the lobby to get cups of tea.nnRoom is dated; small shower room. OknnI paid the same rate for intercontinental in Jordan. Very standard family run hotel. I would go there again but don’t expect 4-5 star standards, just for the location it’s ideal
