Beds were comfortable, but the room was a bit cold sometimes. Besides, it was difficult to have hot water for the showers, but I guess it's the same everywhere in Israel. The location is good, the staff is nice and the price is not bad.

Entrance and reception looked degenerated, the rooms itself are in a bad condition. Bathrooms are disgusting and u have a strange smell in the rooms. The price is not worth living there. We had to live there for two nights in two separate rooms - and all of us had the same opinion!

The room and bathroom was dirty and the kitchen dishes and cutlery were not cleaned properly. The pictures on their web site absolutely misrepresented the room we received. I most certainly will not be staying there again. We stayed at the Beit Immanuel hostel in Tel Aviv and our room at the hostel was far superior than the room at the Alon hotel.

The room was great, even nicer than we expected, very spacious with high ceilings and a charming balcony. The decor was very tasteful and pleasant. Everything was very clean, and there were plentiful supplies of bedding, towels, shampoo, and soap. And of course the location was ideal. All the rooms are one floor up from street level, accessed by a steep staircase. The Wi-Fi was a bit balky at times, but that was a minor issue. Overall a great experience and we hope to come back.
