Conveniently located near Yafo Street and the tram line, with a lot of shops, restaurants and bars all around. The rooms are well and tastefully decorated, and very comfortable, especially the bedding. The bathroom is small but equipped with all you may require. on top of that, the staff is very pleasant, kind, helpful, and highly dedicated to customers. The only caveat is the noise fmade by the band in the restaurant on the other side of the street. But they stop at 11 pm, and this time is respected by the book.

We thoroughly enjoyed 4 days at this hotel for its very courteous and personalized service from the moment we arrived till the day we departed. Personnel are very well trained, happily greeting guests and offering assistance. They speak English perfectly. Although this hotel is located in a pedestrian area, don't let that deter you. We arrived in a rental car and had to park with flashers on a street away. As soon as I notified Eyal at the front desk that I had baggage in my car, he walked with me to remove all of our luggage and walk my wife to the hotel, so that I could move the car. By the time I returned, she was comfortably in our room with our bags put into our room by the staff. The breakfast every morning is very complete, and the chef came out to offer us a cappuccino, instead of the regular coffee. Every afternoon the hotel offers happy hour (included for all customers), which we enjoyed. White and red wines, water, and juices are available along with a pretty good assortment of snacks and at least one staple food. The staff was very efficient to clear dirty dishes, cups or glasses if you wanted to take additional servings. The staff at the front desk is very knowledgeable of the area and offers suggestions of sights to see, city maps, places to eat, etc. They will also arrange for taxis, or explain alternative transportation options in great detail. There are several restaurants, cafes, gelato shops, and stores within the pedestrian area, and outside of the pedestrian street. The modern air conditioned tram on Jaffa street is super close by, and hotel is within a short walk of the city's central market, and only about 12min walk to Jaffa Gate of the Old City of Jerusalem. We would not hesitate to stay at the Arthur Hotel in Jerusalem, for any future travel.
