We booked in here late at night after a disastrous mixup with another hotel I can’t even begin to state how good this place is for the price your paying, we paid £380 for four nights bed and breakfast Room was brilliant, this hotel has been fully renovated, top bathrooms, AC, flat screen TVs, spotlessly clean and everything you need The staff.........nothing, I mean NOTHING was too much trouble for these guys, any time day or night, the front desk staff are so polite even at 3am!!! This is in a Palestinian occupied area conveniently close to the old city walls but you feel so safe round here as an English couple at all times, so courteous and helpful There is a police presence but it’s nessecary and comforting given the turbulent times past and present The food was great, all meals were buffet style Middle Eastern, but perfectly presented by Mohammed Sayyad, fantastic guy, and it was all absolutely delicious, I am really struggling to find a a down side to this place Some people wouldn’t want to stay in an Arab area but seriously there is no reason to feel unsafe, aside of the usual ‘come and see my shop’ there are absolutely no hostilities or issues, people are great Staff organised excursions, taxis, currency, like I said nothing was too much trouble Everyone needs to use this hotel when visiting the old city Well done guys on a great job, shokran!!!

What a surprise. The hotel is completely renovated is does not look at all like the pictures on Tripadvisor. The rooms was clean and all needed was there. Service of the hotel staff was very good too! Would definitely recommend a stay at his hotel.

Wouldn't refund over $470 for booking made in error. Evil management & ownership.

Extremely dangerous, hostile potentially deadly Muslim neighborhood, particularly for an obviously Jewish person. Many rooms were still available - this was over a month before my trip - but, they still wouldn't be even slightly decent about my having booked a room in error. Wouldn't return a penny. Evil, evil, evil. Til you're there,...

Evil, evil, evil. Til you're there, you can't tell how insane it would be to go anywhere near this hotel. Driving past the neighborhood, past the Damascus Gate, one sees the Angel of Death.
