MoreIf you are looking for a quiet place, better to avoid. From noise point of view, this is the worst hotel we have ever been to. In the thursday and friday nights, you can expect noise during night from nearby club as you were in the middle of the dancefloor until 4 a.m. In addition, there are cars honking outside during the whole night (this is just tiny street in the old town, no avenue with 8 lanes) and people, probably leaving the club yelling. There is absolutely no noise reduction, you feel like sleeping in the middle of the street. In this respect, I need to note, that I am no light sleeper and even earplugs with pillow on my head did not manage this noise.nOther annoying experience here is the room service: if you leave the tag on the door that you dont want room service, it does not any matter. The cleaning lady comes anyway and unnecessarily reorganizes your stuff. This is what they call cleaning.nParking: do not expect parking lot nearby, in some day times it is quite difficult to find parking place.nnPros of this property: good location (walking distance to the old town), relatively clean.

MorennThe place is in the middle of Jerusalem's party side. All the best restaurants and pubs are a stroll away. Be aware of Shabbat start time because every place start closing by 4 pm, but a few die hard restaurants and kiosks will remain open( a much different story from my days in the 80's when nothing was open during Shabbat)nThe staff warns you about the noice level ( even they have ear plugs available, specially if you land on the corner room #32), since it can get noisy on Thursday and Saturday nights. The Jaffa gate, Mamila shops, Meah Shearim (Chassidik, Haridei and Chabbadnik neighborhood) and even Machane Yeudah are close by if you are in the mood for long walks, or you can take the electric trolley or buses ( they have a great public transportation network)nWe loved the place, with small but tiny rooms, modern decoration and very clean,nnWe will definitely go back and recommend it to our friends.nn
