It wasn’t true as we met people next morning who had a meal an hour after we had asked. Breakfast was ok. No hot food until a tour bus arrived and then the hotel provided a much better variety of everything. Bedrooms clean and beds comfortable. Reception staff not friendly. Other staff were lovely.

MoreWe stayed here for five nights on a tour of various sites in the country outside of as well as inside the city of Jerusalem. The hotel was centrally situated and the walled city could be easily accessed on foot. It was a small family run hotel with an old fashioned air to it but quite charming in its own way. Our room was small but pleasant with all the necessary facilities and reasonably quiet at night. The food ws good ,certainly of a higher standard than earlier encountered in Israel and afterward there was a pleasant lounge to sit in. Would recommend staying here on a Jerusalem visit.

MoreI styed here in March of this year with a group of people on a pilgrimage. My room was spotless, comfortable bed, and balcony that over looked the old anglican church . The style of the property is like a cosy old house, lots of sofas downstairs. The food presented well and a wide selection of choice for every meal including dessert. Service in the dining room and reception excellent. Smaller hotel but has beautiful garden at the rear to relax in. The garden tomb , old city wall, bus station and shops are all a short walk away makine this hotel and excellent base for pilgrims and other travllers.
