We had everything close, the main shopping and restaurant streets were only a few meters away. It also took like 10-15 minutes of walking through the central streets to arrive to the old city of Jerusalem, as we were interested to see the Western wall and other parts.

A nice hoter/motel (whatever you call it),with a good location, specialy for those who are without a car,and prefer a public transportation. It is also a good place to have for a nightsleep ( one or more),for people who do not need expensive hotels.

Great location good value but inept service

Great location within walking distance (15 min) to the major sites and on a street with lots of restaurants, touristy stuff, bakery etc. Free coffee and common room; has a hostel feel to it. However, really ineffective service seemingly provided by high school or college students with no hotel experience; Asked for ice = there is no ice anywhere in the hotel, but you can purchase at a store; asked for a wine opener = no wine opener anywhere, even though they seem to sell a wine bottle behind the check -in counter. Asked for early check in = not possible. The hotel booked a Sherut but had to wait almost an hour and drag our bags a huge distance; so leave early for the airport. Also really bad wifi.....unable to connect with a top of the line MAC....but there is a computer in the common room with decent internet.

Front desk very personable and helpful. Easy check-in and out. Room near and tidy with ample amenities. Called one evening for help with heating system. Answered immediately and guided me perfectly. Location wonderful and within walking distance of Old City. Parking was confusing with wrong street number and not great directions given. This isn't enough to deter staying here, just make sure you've got it right. By the way, remember that parking structures as well as just about everything else are closed on the Sabbath (Friday sundown to Sat. sundown. We mistakenly forgot about parking structures in Jerusalem and had to call (and pay 100 shekels - $25), to get our car out of the underground parking. Not a catastrophe but was a bit of a panic. There are a few restaurants nearby in Hillel St. that are open in Saturday, but other than that - Jerusalem completely shuts down on the Jewish Sabbath. Highly recommend City Centre Hotel Jerusalem!
