Commodore Hotel Jerusalem

I was so lucky that my travel agent in Cairo booked this hotel for me. It was perfect for me. The breakfast was yummy, my room was spotlessly clean, and it was a simple bus ride from the old town. Taking a bus would normally make me wonder, but trust me, the short bus ride was so simple and cheap and was a great way to take in the entire city . I am a 68 year old woman and was traveling solo. This hotel is nestled in a friendly, safe neighbourhood and at sundown...well Its Mount Olives, so the view a 10/15 walk away was extraordinary. ! The staff at this hotel were the kindest of any hotel anywhere that I have stayed anywhere in the world. I know this is strong statement but it is so. I will return to the Commodore Hotel, Mount Olives, Jerusalem again next year. I am so lucky to have stayed here.

I was in a group for holyland visit.n- room s clean with accepted size and good view in a relatively calm area.n Bed with only one thin and narrow covering not suitable for february cold weather.n One thin pillow only for each bed.n Hot water in bathroom s never truely hot.n No door signals made a man to open the room even with no knocking.n-lobby s clean with available tea but forget to have coffe. If u r in need to get to the lobby toilet, u will hang ur jacket on the ground because nothing for hanging behind the door as usual.n- breakfast goodn-dinner salades r good but the main dish and deserts r not at all but in need to be in bigger amounts and varieties.n- all these made me tell u never expect the 4 star.nnBUTnall employees r more than excellent in all departments.nI appreciate zafer, anitta, leila and farida at the reception and mohamed at the resturant,
