Enjoyed our stay

We recently spent a night at this resort. Our stay was comfortable and we were happy with the spa services. Food and overall experience was good. View from the room is also very good. It is a easy place to recommend.

My wife and I booked a couple of nights here on a whim. We had heard about it and figured we'd try it out. - - - Unbelievable. We loved it. Poised on a hilltop overlooking the Judean mountains, 15 minutes outside of Jerusalem (off the main highway to Tel Aviv), it was beautiful and peaceful. And the food - CRAZY delicious! The breakfasts - the variety and quality are unparalleled. (6am to noon, and you can go back as much as you'd like.) And the dinners - magnificent. We are not "spa" people but it seemed like the spa offers everything and anything anyone could want. Indoor and outdoor pools, yoga classes, exercise room, beautiful grounds. We cannot wait to go back!

Came here for a weekend getaway looking for a bit of peace and quiet after a busy week. Despite the beautiful setting, it sometimes feels as if the Cramim goes out of its way to make that difficult. I found the background music both pervasive and intrusive — whether at the pool side or in the dining hall. The pool is cramped and small as is the hotel itself, and I don't recommend that anybody not planning on leaving the premises spend more than two nights there — even after the first, cabin fever was beginning to set in. Judged by international standards, the Cramim is a four star at best, although the staff were very helpful. The buffet food I found to be very mediocre and the hotel could use another on-site restaurant. In terms of value for money, I believe that the Cramim is poor. Nothing about the guest experience impressed me. Even the weights room had the minimum amount of equipment you'd expect from a modern hotel. Overall, an OK experience if staying on-site at resorts is your think. But I would not put it in the luxury getaway experience category anywhere except Israel.
