My husband and I stayed here as part of a tour for 4 nights from Dec 31-Jan 4 in a king bedroom. We ate the breakfast and dinner buffet each night and the food was great and there was so much variety from which to choose. Morning cappuccino and desserts were awesome. They also have a very nice spa and pool and I watched aerobic lessons in the fitness room and water aerobics in the pool and they seemed nice. But the big place where the Dan excelled was how they treated my husband and I when he became very ill. They helped us call a pharmacy to get medicine and delivered it to our room. When we had to have a Dr come to the hotel, they directed him to our room and were very nice. When we had to ask for more towels, toilet paper, tissue, water etc because my husband was bedridden and very ill, the housekeeping staff was very helpful and gracious. They even checked on me later in the day before they were leaving to be sure I had everything I needed for him. When we had to stay another unplanned night due to his illness while the tour group checked out, they accommodated us without us having to change a room and were very gracious to us. I really appreciate everything the Dan did for us in our stay there. Highly recommend it.

We had some problems with the heater in our room, but apart from that, we had an uneventful stay.

It is the off season. The hotel was quiet, reception was almost too efficient. Our room was slightly larger than average, clean and in good working order...we complained that the a/c in room A-210 roared as if to counteract the noise of nearby traffic. It did keep us comfortable, but it...

It is the off season. The hotel was quiet, reception was almost too efficient. Our room was slightly larger than average, clean and in good working order...we complained that the a/c in room A-210 roared as if to counteract the noise of nearby traffic. It did keep us comfortable, but it was much too loud. Something else the Dan Corp. needs to invest in. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, all one could expect and far more than one should eat. And then the inevitable and totally unexpected (on our part, at least)...the blackout. The end of heating. The end of Wi-Fi. Happily the rooms all have large panorama windows allowing in enough light to read for a while, to pack, and to clear out.

This is a great hotel which used to be part of the Hyatt Regency chain. It is located on Mt. Scopis near the Old City of Jerusalem. The hotel offers wonderful buffet dining and is consistent with presentation and excellent entrees, salads, vegetables and desserts. The rooms are comfortable and the are additional boutique options like spa offerings and in door swimming. Service is excellent and response time is great. This is a busy hotel but it is quiet and comfortable for busy travelers/pilgrims who are visiting for several days in Jerusalem. Some rooms have magnificent views of the Old City. A very nice place to stay in Jerusalem.
