Dan Jerusalem was our last hotel to stay in during our Beatitudes Pilgrimage in January 2020 and we truly enjoy our stay here. Thanks to the safe and clean rooms, meeting rooms and common areas, the wonderful breakfast spread, and of course, the hospitable and friendly staff, especially the jolly guest relations manager, Jeremy Weiss, who welcomed us upon arrival and who has been most accommodating during our 4 day stay. Everything was great and even made a lot of friends among the staff and guests. Would definitely recommend Dan Jerusalem Hotel to family and friends! Thanks you again Jess (Jeremy) and all Dan staff for taking good care of us! Will be back for sure! Stay safe everyone! Shalom! Malou Y Manila, Philippines

Ok place to stay, not a 4 star hotel, could NOT get toilet paper from housekeeping had to complain twice. One they made up the room but left no towels. This hotel was used by the tour company. Not sure I would pick it if we were traveling by ourselves.

Very Disappointing

My wife and I spent three nights at the Dan Jerusalem on the front end of our tour of Israel. It was by far the worst hotel we stayed in during our three week trip. The physical appearance of the hotel’s common areas is quite nice, and our room was clean and comfortable. Everything else was surprisingly inadequate: extremely limited food options, extremely limited bar options, no sundry store on premises, no ATM or ability to convert currency on premises, and the front desk staff, wait staff, and concierge staff were completely disengaged and disinterested. Bottom line: As noted by another reviewer, this hotel has clearly cast its lot with mass marketed, cattle call, fixed price tour groups. The only truly available dining facility for breakfast and dinner is the main buffet dining hall that caters to several hundred tour participants simultaneously and is sadly reminiscent of a poor college dining hall. Finally — and this is no fault of the hotel’s, but it is worth noting — while the hotel is perched atop a hill and has a wonderful view of the city, the hotel is isolated from all points of interest and you cannot simply walk out the door and wander the city or neighborhood , shop, etc. Plus, given the overly congested roads in and around Jerusalem, it’s a 20 -30 minute $30 cab ride to get anywhere you want to go.
