Founded in April 1895 as part of the Maronite Patriarchal Vicariate mission to serve pilgrims visiting Jerusalem, Foyer Mar Maroun Guesthouse is managed by Maronite nuns.
Foyer Mar Maroun offers 17 rooms with half board and full board options. The guesthouse was renovated in 1999 to make stays more pleasant for visiting pilgrims – each room now has a private bathroom.
Other facilities include a lecture room for 40 people and a chapel with tabernacle on site. The guesthouse is known for its roof terrace view of the holy sites in the Old City and beyond.
