Thus is the best Catholic guesthouse I’ve stayed at. Though it doesn’t have the embellishments of a hotel, it is ultra clean with updated bathrooms. It’s safe as everyone needs to be buzzed in for entrance. A generous breakfast is included with the room rate but don’t expect cooked to order eggs. Still, it’s more generous than what was served in 3 star hotels. Location can’t be beat as it’s half a block away from Damascus Gate of the old city of Jerusalem. It’s also within a block of the light rail. They have various levels of accommodations and I chose the single room with private bath. The room had 2 twin beds and was spacious. Sister Herminia manages the guesthouse and she’s amazing. The sisters are friendly and so are the front desk staff. They organized a Christmas Eve mass to Bethlehem for residents who would like to join them. I hope this is the same guest house at 112 Nablus Road as the address on trip advisor is different. It’s also called the white sisters convent.

A wonderfully calm and community place to stay by Damascus Gate

I have stayed here twice. Happily both times. A quiet, simple, spotlessly clean and supportive friendly place in a brilliant location. Excellent breakfast options and nice to meet other visitors there. The garden is an excellent bonus.

A very nice litttle guest house for those on a budget.

We stopped in here on the way to the old city. My friend the tour guide made do with his Spanish until a young lady come out who spoke English. No frills, but all that seems required for a pleasant stay. Breakfast in included. Other meals are served for groups of 15 or more.
