Stayed two nights this week. Location of the hotel is convenient if you are in Jerusalem for religious site seeing and pilgrimage. This hotel needs renovation. Also, needs train their front desk staff. Rooms should be in better condition for the rate. Room was workable for our short stay. We were party of two in room 139 and we had barely any room to move in the room. We were outside most of the time and did not worry about the room too much. There was shuttle from the next building to Allenby bridge which was a plus. Damascus gate was a short < 5min walk. Some local restaurants and many stores around including excellent fruit stalls.

Staff were great. I stayed on thebecond floor, so still needs to be refurbished. But the hotel as a whole as great. Roof top seating was amazing. Had lunch there a few times. Buffet lunch and breakfast was also really nice. Defo coming back

Excellent location compensates for shortcomings

The location close by Damascus Gate could not be better and the cost is reasonable in an expensive city. The rooms are adequate but on several occasions were not properly serviced. Dirty cups unattended coffee supplies not replenished and table tops not cleaned. Small points quickly put right when raised but some quality control needed. Lounge area and rooftop sitting area overlooking city walls a bonus. Dining room let down by cramped food service area (buffet). With large pilgrim groups all eating at same time an unedifying scramble at breakfast results. Interesting to see people queuing for the one toaster before even grabbing cereals. Food quality reasonable both morning and evening. Reception proved helpful when we asked for guidance to visit Museums. All in all a city hotel in the right place with no frills. If the purpose of your visit is sightseeing and you are not looking for luxury then this will meet your needs.

My husband and I had the most memorable and incredible experience in Jerusalem. We spend the last 9 nights in Ramadan. ; the hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant and charming. A beautiful hotel, great value for money ; affordable; a amazing breakfast and good food. Located not very far from the Damascus gate and also from the Salahuddin gate; the holy city; who steps from its ground with its charming and spiritual history . The staff was unbelievable. ; from the front desk Myrana; Nadia Mais; Rafik Muhammed and most importantly Hani. I left behind my item; and Hani immediately traced and returned to me . Absolutely honest. I would definitely recommend to have a wonderful stay.

The location next to Damascus gate is good and ideal for visiting the Qibli mosque and dome of the rock for the daily 5 times prayer. Good reception area and dinning room. We went during the last two weeks of the fasting month (Ramadan) and the hotel was very busy. The restaurant staff are excellent and the early morning breakfast/meal was very good. The hotel is let down by the front desk reception staff ( especially the morning staff) who are incompetent, unfriendly, not accommodating. Simple manners are lacking , it may be due to being overwhelmed by the number of visitors. Definitely need to go for some PR training. The bedroom on second floor , not - renovated part are small, tired , and the barroom needs overhauling urgently. Hopefully the management are not taking the pilgrim visiting during Ramadan for granted and will improve on the shortcomings. Potential for being a very good hotel with certain improvements.
