Hotel Manager Ms. Rania is a very rude and not professional. My family of four arrived for a 3 night stay. She told us the water was not working and would need to go to another hotel! nThere were many guests arriving and checking inn. nThe hotel had clearly overbooked and was lying to us.nThe hotel she wanted to send us to was cheaper than the Holy Land.nAt first Rania said she would pay for our stay at the cheaper place.nAfter we agreed to move there she said the full price will be taken for our booking, even the new hotel was £250 cheaper on booking.com!!!nWhen challenged she became EXTREMELY aggressive and I kept my cool and left calmly. nBe very careful here as this is common in the old city the rooms get overbooked. But to be treated in such a cowboy manner was shocking. I would not advise any one to stay here.

I was woken by chanting Muslims at all hours. I asked for a plug for my sink so I could wash clothes — never happened. Speaking of clothes, was there a dresser or some shelves to store them? No! I had to live out of my suitcase for 5 days. Taxi cabs from the Israeli side of town wouldn’t take us back there. The breakfast hall was crowded with tour groups. No good restaurants in walking distance. I will stay on the west side of town next time.

Comfortable hotel. I had room 326 facing the Done of the Rock head in! Comfortable and clean room and surrounding. Fit the bill. Good water pressure in shower. Breakfast buffet included. It was satisfactory. Staff were present. Nothing exceptional but nothing to complain about! Excellent location just up from Herod’s gate
