Jerusalem Gate Hotel is a Mehadrin Kosher hotel , certified by the rabbinate of Jerusalem (Glatt kosher). The hotel specializes in hosting private events, such as Shabbat Chatan and Bar/Bat Mitzvah, and has several venues for weddings and other events. Additional services are: 'reversal of meals' for the religious crowd, Shabbat elevator, and a men's mikveh. Jerusalem Gate Hotel is located in a walking distance from the new central bus station in Jerusalem. Therefore, using public transportation to get to/from the hotel is very easy and comfortable. To get to the hotel by car, take Highway 1 (Tel Aviv – Jerusalem). Take the second turn at your left towards the CBS, after passing Ginot Sacharov Intersection. Turn right at the first intersection and then take the at second turning on the right. Carry straight until you arrive to the hotel's entrance or Center 1 Parking Lot. In a walking distance, you will find many of Jerusalem's sites and attractions, such as Israel Museum ,Wohl Rose Park ,Bloomfield Science MuseumMachane Yehuda Market, Sacher Park, Ben-Yehuda pedestrian street, Old City, and the Western Wall

The hotel has two buffet dining rooms that serve delicious Glatt-Kosher meals. Aderet dining room is located at the entrance floor (and can also be used for private events). An additional dining hall is located on Floor 1 and is called Tavor. Dining Room. Breakfast is served 6:30-10:00 am. Dinner is served 6:30-8:30pm Nearby the hotel is Center 1 Shopping Mall, where you will find cafes, fast-food chains, bakeries, a pharmacy, clothing and footwear stores, an ATM, and a synagogue. You will also find the mall's fitness center, which is free for Jerusalem Gate Hotel's guests. The shopping center is open every day, 10am–10pm, and it can be accessed directly from the hotel's lobby. In addition, hotel's guests are free to use the center's parking lot. The hotel's synagogue is open 7 days a week. The synagogue's ark includes several Torah books in different versions. Those who wish to celebrate Shabbat Chatan can rent a specific Torah book from that particular synagogue. Recently, a luxurious men's mikveh opened in the hotel.

    Location is fine. Overprices. Holes in bed sheets. One time they put my blanket in the closet and I wasn't able to find it so I spent the entire night freezing cold. Food is fine. Wouldn't recommend.
