Being on a round trip in Israel, this was the second hotel. Before arriving I looked at the pictures on their website, and was kind of thrilled. Wauw - the rooms looked nice, the buffet delicious. And let’s just say - picture and reality didn’t really match. At all. The only good thing to say about this hotel is that it is really, really close to public transportation. That’s it. The restaurant sucks, the intérieure of the rooms are horrible, old and very demolished, the staff is a story of its own (If your are lucky you might meet a staff that is not overwhelmed by the tasks). A few advices for the management of the hotel: study logistic, leadership but most of all, remove the four stars. And then decide if you only want to be a “passing-through-hotel”. Then build your organisation, the hotel etc for that particular task. Then expectations and deliveries might end up matching.

First, a big THANK YOU to Elizabeth who was a huge help at the front desk. The place is really a hotel rather than a traditional "resort." Lots of mirrors and lights (excellent for reading). We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was very nice - right next to bus, light rail, and train. The mile walk to the old city can get tired, but there's lots to see along the way. The room had a mini-fridge and hot pot and the shower was wonderful (LOTS of hot water). The hotel is on Jaffa Street but access is on the back of the building and can be a hassle with suitcases (either up many stairs or a round-about path).

Location is very good, next door to train station and easy to find Unfortunately the rooms aren't very clean (floors dusty) and it took a long time to check in, only to find the rooms were not ready. Only one person at reception and a long queue of people. Seems like there are lots of tour companies here using the hotel.
