Accomodation in Jerusalem is expensive and this hotel is mid-range but the location and ambience make it a standout. We wanted to be close to the old city and it’s only 15-20mins walk from there. The hotel’s mission/values of creating and supporting a place of peace for people of all religious denominations is apt in this polyglot city. Designed by the architect of the Empire State Building the public areas and terraces are gracious and the renovated rooms spare and clean. The views from the bell tower are worth the time to check out with expansive vistas of the city in all directions. Brass plates of the Jerusalem skyline at each compass point demonstrate the growth of the city. Reception staff are professional and helpful and a restaurant, gym and indoor pool are available to guests. On the downside air con in our room was v cold and unadjustable but extra duvets etc were no problem. Staff in the restaurant were friendly but service was sloppy due at times to being overwhelmed and at breakfast they were just too junior and unsupervised. The food is fine although high priced, as is much in the city. If you enjoy something unusual and in keeping with the place you are visiting I can recommend this beautiful place.

This hotel lovely, the bell tower is a must as the views from it are spectacular. The hotel hired a tour guide for us, and this tour guide gave us the best time in Jerusalem. A very well detailed tour around the old city and the main sites in Jerusalem. Ask for Jiries Asmar - also known as Jerry. He is well-mannered, smart and efficient. He took around Jerusalem and worked in a way to avoid all the crowds and flocks of tourists.

Do go up the clock tower - spectacular views of the old city by day or night. Great place.
