This was the first hotel on our stay and to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. The hotel is wildly run down, our room was missing plaster off the walls, the windows leaked so when it rained the water came in - my parents room had a cracked sink so they had to move. The bathroom was grubby, the carpet was so dirty you didn’t want to walk on it - the walls had holes and very questionable electricity. On a whole it was not a relaxing time and we were there for 6 days! One positive is the bed was comfortable although the sheets were dirty. Breakfast too was disappointing.

I have never been in such a dirty and smelly hotel, it was terrible experience. Hotel is very old, poor and scraggly. Rooms are dirty and messy. There was dust everywhere, rubbish on the carpets, holes in the walls, damaged old furniture, sockets and bed. AC was dirty too; but we had not very hot weather, so no need to used it, fortunatelly. Bathroom was very smelly too, old, smeary bath and toilet. We had only one big towel for both of us! There were also rubbish in broken bin - maybe previous guests left them and nobody tidied this room after their check-out? Hotel is in good site, with wiew to Old town and also quite close to Old town by walking. But there are no chances how to spend free time - no TV, no restaurant (only if you have ordered dinner before), no bar,... nothing. This hotel has spoiled the impression form our trip to Yerusalem :(

This is a difficult place to review. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is adequate although cleared away pretty early. The view over to the SE corner of the old city is superb. There are downsides. The rooms are not just tired but semi comatose! The carpets are old, dirty and worn....

This is a difficult place to review. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is adequate although cleared away pretty early. The view over to the SE corner of the old city is superb. There are downsides. The rooms are not just tired but semi comatose! The carpets are old, dirty and worn. The TV is not a flat screen but an old CRT and the colours indicate the colour guns are dead. This was so in all the rooms we checked. There is no fridge. The air con is modern. The bathroom is poor with holes in the tiles on the floor and walls. The shower has no hook and is useless because you cannot get a stable useable temperature. The external noise is very intrusive varying from the constant car horns to the call to prayer at 0500. There is no bar or restaurant contrary to Booking.com page and there are no walkable restaurants so your only option for food in the evening is a small falafel sandwich (10nis) which the staff will get delivered Think student dorm /hostel standard and you won’t be far wrong.
