Hotel Staff were friendly. Hotel room was nice, spacious, big kitchen and very clean. AC was GREAT! Shower – door didn’t close well, so a lot of water seeped through the door. Close to a lot of small businesses and shops. Very close to Jerusalem, we just walked to the old city. Suggestions: have a flier to give out to tourists with “Things to Do in Jerusalem, including nearby shops’ names, services and so on, including time open/close of businesses as we were surprised to find out that they close for the “Sabbath”. Parking – hard to find an affordable parking lot near by. Unfortunately, we had to pay a lot of money to park our vehicle near the hotel.

I chose this hotel because I like to feel I am staying in an apartment with a separate bedroom and kitchen. This hotel had what I needed and do not regret staying here. Yes, to some it may be a bit dated but I think it fits the feel of being in an old city. They have only one elevator and very small which fits maybe 3 people but with only seven floors we were able to take the stairs if needed. The bathroom was great, bedroom and comfort of bed was awesome. The living room was a bit small but great to fit my needs of being in a small apartment. One thing I did not care for is that they do not provide coffee pots but they do provide a hot water kettle and free packets of coffee/tea. We got a room with a balcony and got a great view of the old city. The location at Ben Yehuda Street was the icing on the cake! Great night life and lots of shops and food places to eat. The open market was only a minutes walking distance. The bedroom also had a small balcony which was a plus. The staff were very friendly and accommodated us with what we needed. There is no 24 hr hotel staff and the front door is secured after hours but they do provide a entry code to get in.

My second visit to this hotel. Outstanding location, large rooms, clean and affordable. Great views off balconies. Ten minute walk to Old City and surrounded by restaurants, shops and activities. A new McDonalds restaurant located across the street for food on the Sabbath when most restaurants are closed. A Pizza Hut located next door as well. Highly recommended.
