We stayed here several nights during our time in Jerusalem. We had trouble with the A/C not working. The room was very basic but clean. it was close to New Gate but it was uphill. There are a lot of stairs on the property, if you have any physical issues - advise to stay on main floor and use the small elevator. The people were very friendly and tired to accommodate our needs.

This hotel is near the New gate of the old city. Easy walk to any place in the old city. It is a older hotel and needs some updating. The AC did not work well, but the evenings cooled down and that made things tolerable. The convenience of being in the old city made sight seeing easy. We felt safe at all times. The food was good and the service was good as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We think it is an average hotel for the area. The AC was our only problem.

Just spent 3 nights here. Cool from an ambiance standpoint but very average to below average rooms. A/C was hit or miss, food very good, service very friendly, but noisy, hard to sleep. Am not sure of any decent alternatives in the Old City.
