Nice hotel, perfect location, excelent service
TripAdvisor RatingReviewed 1 day ago

Very clean, practical and comfortable. The breakfast may need a little more variety, but overall good menu. The location is excelent because its in a residential area close to the old city in a walking distance of 10 min. So its not noisy and yet close to the most important place.

Needs updated!

Nice people. Lovely outdoor area with flowers; picturesque. Our twin room was clean but basic. Not a lot of amenities. I asked for tissue (kleenex type) and they said they don't provide it, but in my case they went out of their way to give me a package. They have a decent breakfast which can get you through the day until you go out for dinner. The bathroom was small, not great. The lighting was not good if you are a woman interested in applying make-up. My son lent me a lamp for the desk which helped. The neighborhood is lovely.

Rechavia is a great neighbourhood, and this old-style hotel is justly famous. We made the mistake of checking in on the Sabbath - stupid of us, so we didn't get our room till 9 in the evening. Avoid that if possible! Also, parking is hard to find and expensive. I would recommend leaving the car at one of the large indoor carparks like Mamilla during the day, and trying to find a kerbside parking space for the night, when it is free.
