Welcome to Mike’s House – a top-class boutique-style guesthouse located on a quiet street between the Greek Colony and the Katamon neighborhood, within walking distance of the German colony and the intimate Emek Ghosh Street.
The guesthouse is built in a Bauhaus style, boasting unique facades, rounded balconies, square windows, and flat roofs.
From the moment you enter, the cozy and pleasant atmosphere of the place will make you feel right at home, and the unique location in one of the most special parts of southern Jerusalem will only add to the delightful experience.
There are various facilities to make your stay pleasant: a sunny terrace, fruit trees, a library, a dedicated baggage storage room, a smoking area, safes in every room, a business center with fax and copying services, and a fully equipped conference room.
Additionally, there’s a coffee and cake stand available to guests 24/7.
The guest house is located near a synagogue, supermarkets, and convenience stores, Emek Refaim Street where you may find some of the best restaurants and delicious boutique bakeries. The First Station complex, the picturesque Mishkenot Sha’ananim neighborhood, and the Old City are also nearby. Several bus stops are located by the guesthouse, providing an easy commute to the city center and local attractions like Mamilla Boulevard.

Our upgraded room (thank you, Mike!), was just the right size for us, with a small refrigerator, and 24x7 access to tea and coffee downstairs. We did not have an opportunity to sit in the garden, but it looks like a lovely place to hang-out with a book. The area is very nice and quiet, and was a short walking distance from our friend's home. Certainly a place to return to next time we visit.

It is a guesthouse with hotel service: daily cleaning of the room. They even made the room near and tidy by folding up our clothes! We (a family of four) had a suite with our own entrance and two separated bedrooms. The neighborhood is quiet but with restaurants in walking distance. It is even possible to walk to the old center. If we ever would stay in Jerusalem again we definitely choose for Mike’s home again!
