Had reviews and there were very mixed reviews. Everyones experience is different. I joined a group, but arrived a day early, the room I got was not great, but Omer who checked me in was helpful- the hotel was full that evening, but promised to move to a different room in the morning- he kept his promise- i packed by stuff before going out and when came back, my room was almost ready- better and more comfortable. I also noted reviews on Breakfast- I was there for 5 night and for the first 4 days had breakfast on the 4th floor, which in my opinion was abundant and lot of varieties- with a station for eggs as well, but on the last day. we were moved to the ground floor restaurant and that was awful, the choices were very limited, no bread and whatever food was there was cold. Was told that the ground floor is for groups- we were only 13 in the group, so i presume the first 4 days- there were no groups and therefore we were served breakfast and dinner on the 4th floor My message to the management- dont treat groups as second class citizen- I can understand the group pay less than individuals, but it is the groups that maintains the room occupancy through out the year. The people in the group would be giving feedback to their group leader, who in turn would give the feedback to the agents. I would not use the hotel again if joining a group, but would definitely use it if booking direct- as the treatment was very obvious

The rooms are quite big and we had a massive (shared) balcony (with two other units). The staff were awesome and we appreciated the free parking, even though one had to be a seasoned driver to get into the parking spots on some days. Also bear in mind that this is a Muslim hotel and on Friday afternoons their parking lot is used to assist other Muslims to get to the surrounding mosques for prayers which means you will either be parked in or won’t be able to get in until prayers are over. The establishment is clean and breakfast was very good. Dinner was good, especially when on the fourth floor which has a nice view. It is around 10-15 minutes walk to the Herod/Damascus gates. The surrounding area is not Jerusalem’s finest, but we never felt unsafe. Recommended for service and value for money.

Able to walk to the Old City Gate of Damascus within a few minutes in order to avoid the high-priced taxis. Lots of shops surround the hotel and cafes. The room was large, comfortable with a large bathroom. The tub is sunken, but I was not able to fill it up, since the drain stopper did not work. Was difficult to get in and out of to take a shower, since it was 2.5 ft deep and lacked a safety mat so I almost slipped ever time I used the shower. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. There was a refrig, microwave and large comfortable bed. The TV was easy to use and I was able to log onto Netflix and Amazon Prime. The breakfast buffet was included in my room rate and was as good as they get, with almost 100 selections of every type of food..both local, breads and fruits. The coffee was really good and there was always plenty of fresh juice and local fruits. There was also an omelette bar along with 10 different kinds of freshly bakes breads and cakes. The only thing that was poor was the wake-up service. I tried twice to get my room called in the morning and they never called, either time. I just gave up and had to use my cell phone alarm since there is no room clock/radio/alarm.
