Isrotel Exclusive Collection: Orient Jerusalem Hotel
Exclusive Luxury at the German Colony
With the Isrotel Exclusive Collection Orient Jerusalem, Israel’s largest luxury hotel company brings its most ambitious opening to Jerusalem’s German Colony neighborhood.
The hotel and residence features 240 luxurious rooms and suites spread throughout the main facilities as well as a collection of breathtaking Templar-style buildings typical of the neighborhood’s architecture, as well as an indoor and outdoor pool, a pampering spa and a prestigious fine-dining restaurant serving a kosher-dairy menu. Meanwhile, the rooms themselves are equipped with large, lavish beds, elaborate bathrooms and beautiful city views.
The massive project took years to build as it was carefully crafted with an architectural style meant to invoke the spirit of Jerusalem and the German colony, combining elements of the past and present such as typical Jerusalem stone, reflective glass, and local wood designs.
A Unique Location
The German Colony is best known for its charm and peaceful atmosphere, and we wouldn’t blame you if you never left the hotel. However, don’t forget that the hotel is also just a short walk from some of Jerusalem’s most happening areas including the adjacent First Station (5-min. walk), the upscale King David Street (10-min. walk), the bustling downtown Jerusalem and the Old City (2-3 km), to which it is connected by a number of public transportation lines.

It felt they really want us back and did the upmost to please and serve. The hotel was fully booked and they had a big staff to cater and care. The breakfast was fantastic and the lounge is a great pleasure to have. The weekend was perfect .we will be back soon. The manager and her staff were around to see that everyone is content. G R E A T

Lie no 1.- they charge you the "modest" price of US$600/night!!! for room with small balcony and view of old city (according to hotel website) - well madam hotel manager, from room 723 you have to be acrobat and do snapling to try and see something from the old city. Lie no 2 - we have been told that sunset view from rooftop bar is something not to be missed. Upon check in We double checked that rooftop bar is open. We shortcut a meeting to be on time for sunset just to find out that bar was closed! Just few more 'small" things: A. When we first enter the room, we found that someone was in the room before us and it wasn't properly cleaned. Dirty towel, papers on the floor (we are still in Corona time madam hotel manager!) B. For the outrageous price of US$600/night, you can be a bit more generous and put 2 bottles of water for couple. One good word about the staff of the main bar who try to handle the story and comfort us the best they could. Stay away!!!

MoreIt is a rather new beautiful hotel Well decorated with nice rooms and excellent friendly service of all staff members we have encountered. The hotel is located South-West to the old city (about 10 minutes’ drive). While a few rooms (or suits) at the most Northern side (definitely at the higher floors), are likely to be of “Old city view”, they sell at a quite significant surcharge many other rooms as of “Old city view”. Many of these rooms actually face some old warehouses or the old Train Station. In order to actually see the old city from those rooms, one should really bend out of the window in the North-East direction.
