Isrotel Exclusive Collection: Orient Jerusalem Hotel
Exclusive Luxury at the German Colony
With the Isrotel Exclusive Collection Orient Jerusalem, Israel’s largest luxury hotel company brings its most ambitious opening to Jerusalem’s German Colony neighborhood.
The hotel and residence features 240 luxurious rooms and suites spread throughout the main facilities as well as a collection of breathtaking Templar-style buildings typical of the neighborhood’s architecture, as well as an indoor and outdoor pool, a pampering spa and a prestigious fine-dining restaurant serving a kosher-dairy menu. Meanwhile, the rooms themselves are equipped with large, lavish beds, elaborate bathrooms and beautiful city views.
The massive project took years to build as it was carefully crafted with an architectural style meant to invoke the spirit of Jerusalem and the German colony, combining elements of the past and present such as typical Jerusalem stone, reflective glass, and local wood designs.
A Unique Location
The German Colony is best known for its charm and peaceful atmosphere, and we wouldn’t blame you if you never left the hotel. However, don’t forget that the hotel is also just a short walk from some of Jerusalem’s most happening areas including the adjacent First Station (5-min. walk), the upscale King David Street (10-min. walk), the bustling downtown Jerusalem and the Old City (2-3 km), to which it is connected by a number of public transportation lines.

The rooms are beautiful. The staff that man the floor does a brilliant job in terms of service. As soon as they see you are around, the knock on the door to check your needs are being met, and if they can do anything to make your stay more pleasurable. The service at breakfast was above what I expected during this difficult time with Covid-19. There was nothing that you could imagine being at a hotel breakfast that was not there. The control was handled efficiently and the service was brilliant. The pool on the roof is beautifully maintained with a spectacular view of Jerusalem.

MoreOur family just spent 5 nights at the Orient. Bottom line - the hotel is fantastic. The building itself is gorgeous, the rooms are plush and spacious and the location perfect for touring - walking distance to the Old City, the town center and all the main attractions. The staff were just wonderful, super attentive and you feel they're really trying all the time. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We also ate Friday night dinner at the hotel which was even better. We enjoyed both pools - the view from the rooftop pool is super. Gym is well equipped. We've been to a number of Jerusalem hotels over the years - the Orient is the best of them all.
