MoreMy wife and I stayed here three nights and found property to be fine but nothing special. The elevators were unbelievable slow so we often gave up and took the stairs which would not be good for people with limited mobility. The dinner/breakfast buffet was very crowded and being repeatedly jostled was not much fun. But the food was okay overall and there was lots of it. All in all we agreed that should we be in Jerusalem in the future we would find a different place to stay.

MoreWe have stayed at this hotel a number of times, sadly, it doesn't seem to care enough to take care of problems.nnLast year we complained about the air-conditioning (we could not adjust it and it was arctic in the room) and the beds.nnThis year, we experienced the same thing - if not worse.nnThe room was frigid when we checked in. Changing any temperature settings on the thermostat was a waste of time - nothing at all happened. Finally we just turned it off completely. It was okay at night. The next day there was so much cold air from the rooms around us that even with the unit off in our room we were still freezing.nnThe mattresses are very worn, should have been replaced years ago - one of the worst night's sleep (when I could sleep) that I have had in a long time.nnWe booked through Hotels.com and as gold members were supposed to get a bottle of wine as a perk -- apparently the hotel thought that a fruit plate was a better idea - it was not.nnThere is a clock in the room - but they obviously don't think there is any need to change the batteries, so that it is just a useless knick knack that is in the way.nnWe have stayed here a number of times in the past, the staff was nice and the location convenient - but after this experience we will not be coming back, even if we have to spend more money to stay someplace else.nnAdditionally - in case anyone in the hotel cares - keep in mind that I am a tour guide and will no longer recommend this hotel to my clients.
