The hotel is a simple, well placed hotel, with an interesting history. It is within about 15 minutes of Jaffa Gate. The welcome is warm and the staff are friendly. My room, was clean, but humble. The church has a Sunday service at 10am, which sadly I was unable to attend. The hotel is not far from First Station, which was apparently the first train station in Jerusalem. There are various options of places to eat, amusement and a few shops.

Having stayed at St Andrew's many times over the past 25 years leading university students, we spent our last 2 nights of the our week in Jerusalem at this facility. The rooms are comfortable and simple with a nice breakfast. The lounge is quiet, relaxing and enjoyable while talking with new or old friends.

First off, the staff is very nice and helpful. The building itself especially from the outside is very beautiful including the landscaping. The rooms are basic. In our room had a lot of flies in it. It was clean however. There was nothing special here. Breakfast to me was more of a continental breakfast with salads fruits bread’s. The coffee was freshly made and good. This is not a typical hotel such as Prima King or the Olive tree. It reminds me more of a B&B but equivalent to a days inn in the United States. We paid way too much for this room but that is most likely because of the timing that we were in Jerusalem which was around Jerusalem day
