My family thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Post which felt a lot like home away from home. It was great to come into a warm and friendly atmosphere after a walkabout in cold Jerusalem. Friendly and helpful staff who should be paid well for doing an awesome job.

The hostel is on the top floor of Jerusalem’s main post office, which was built from 1934 to 1938 by chief architect of the British Mandate Department of Public Works Austin Harrison and British government architect Percy Winter. Moreloved this nice hostel. I had the private room so I can say something about this only. It was well equipped, clean and nicely decorated. Cleaned daily like in an hotel and with toileteries and towels changed daily. The breakfast was very good and varied, with fresh orange juice, although you had to squeeze it yourself! location is very central, just off Jaffa Gate and opposite the City Hall tram station so you cna get anywhere. Staff were amazing, very helpful, giving all information which was required. Wifi worked very well everywhere. It had the feeling of an hotel with the buzz of an hostel but being very quiet at night which was very welcome! The only thing I will say to improve is the entrance of the building, it is very run down and does not give a nice impression. I can recommend this hostel to anyone and if I will have to com back I will stay there.
LessWe took a two bunk bed room. This room was small and didn’t have much room or any other furniture. But it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The showers and bathroom was great. Not too spacious but clean and nice. Great location. The atmosphere was young and international. They arrange different tours...
MoreWe took a two bunk bed room. This room was small and didn’t have much room or any other furniture. But it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The showers and bathroom was great. Not too spacious but clean and nice. Great location. The atmosphere was young and international. They arrange different tours also that you can sign up to. Breakfast was included and was nice. Not fancy but a good variety of things. I know there are other rooms that are more spacious. We were better off taking two double bed room. Next time!
