Perfectly situated in the German colony, within walking distance to much of the city’s attractions, the rooms are beautiful, sparkling clean and very comfortable We loved the breakfast. Alon helped us figure out what we would like to do during our short trip to Jerusalem , and his tips were spot on

This charming boutique hotel/B&B is the finest accommodation we’ve had in over 30 years of travel to Jerusalem. We stayed 14 nights in two suites and we felt very much at home in this museum-like hotel. Suites are spacious and immaculate; climate control perfect; beds very comfortable with a variety of pillow firmnesses from which to choose. Rooms are well-lit, which is not something we often find. Bathrooms are modern and kitchenettes are useful. Ours was stocked with coffee, tea and a bottle of milk. Wi-Fi was strong, and there are TVs in each room. Plenty of power outlets and more drawers and closet space than we could use. The gourmet home-cooked breakfast was spectacular every morning, and it’s served in the private enclosed courtyard garden adjoining the building. The owners cook and bake everything, and it's impossible to finish the meal. The coffee is excellent. We remained in the garden many days after breakfast, taking in the early sun and morning breeze. Most important, there is no better location for a Jerusalem home base. The Templer is across the street from the First Station and rail trail, steps from trendy Emek Refaim, the Windmill, Liberty Bell Park and Miskanot Sheananim path to Jaffa Gate. Easy walk to the King David, YMCA, Jerusalem Theater. I can't say enough about the owners, who took good care of us and who have created this unusual place. Finally, the price was very fair for large suite accommodations in the most desirable part of Jerusalem.
