Business Lunch Bargain: Meat & Eat

Whether you’ve been sightseeing or walking on your own, when the clock strikes noon, it’s definitely time to sit down, relax and have a great lunch in an attractive, relaxing atmosphere.

While it may be called “business lunch,” the lunchtime deals you see around town aren’t just for movers and shakers. They’re a chance for everybody to get a meal at some of the city’s best restaurants at a bargain price.

The Pick

Our pick is Meat & Eat, a high-end steakhouse-type restaurant in Jerusalem’s renovated First Station compound, which offers one of the most relaxing and comfortable atmospheres in the city just a short ride from downtown Jerusalem.

The business lunch special at Meat & Eat runs from 12:00-5:00 pm Sunday-Friday and has options for just about every budget, each including an appetizer and a side. The overall discount rounds out to about 25%.

“I want anybody to be able to eat here,” says Meat & Eat co-owner, Benny Ashkenazi. “Even if they only have 79 shekels, they can eat and be full.”

Ashkenazi adds that they aren’t too fickle with the business lunch times. While some places require that you order at least 15-30 min before the deal ends, Meat & Eat will honor it right up until 5 pm.
