Maccabiah 2017: Art Events and Exhibitions

With its rich history and heritage, cultural diversity, and breathtaking views, the city of Jerusalem has always been and you will always remain a true inspiration and the perfect environment for a constant artistic renaissance.

Take advantage of your trip to Jerusalem and check out the flourishing and stylish art scene in the city. International and local galleries, changing exhibitions, art houses and artists’ studios will open their doors to the Maccabiah participants and their families and offer free admission visits and special discounts.

How to use your discount card? Your special offer booklet will wait for you at the room of your hotel. In order to get the offers please tear off your discount card out of the booklet, sign it at your concierge hotel (both in Jerusalem and around the country), add your Maccabia ID and show it at the sites counters. The discount card is a family card: valid for the Maccabia participants as well as for your families and escorts.

Artists Colony – Hutzut Hayotzer

Open daily, from 9 am – 5 pm, Hutzut Hayotzer is a picturesque street with 26 stylish studios and galleries. Stroll in this beautiful lane and get inspired by the creativity around you, the customized works of art and the artistic process.

Art Cube Artists’ Studios

With constantly changing exhibitions, artist talks, lectures, workshops and many more interesting programs, the Art Cube Artists’ Studios is practically an artistic paradise. Artist Menucha Yankelevitch

Visit Menucha Yenkelevitch’s international painting gallery to see inspirational paintings of Jerusalem’s most beautiful and sacred places. While you’re there, enjoy seeing the artist at work and hear some interesting and revealing personal stories.

Jerusalem Artists’ House

Situated in a historic building, the Jerusalem Artists’ House is a center of contemporary art and home to the Association for Jerusalem Artists.
