The Church of St. Anne is located near the Lion's Gate in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City. Built between 1131 and 1168 AD, the church is best known for its typical medieval architecture and near-perfect acoustics that make it a destination for soloists and choirs.

The acoustics in this building are amazing. Had they not been closing, we would have stayed there and continued to sing for quite a while. It was glorious.

Beautiful church and attached museum, next to the excavations of Bethany. Also contains the place believed to be where Our Lady was born. Acoustics in the church are incredible and going in to sing is positively encouraged.
