The Beit Ha'am Cultural Hall

The Beit Ha'am Cultural Hall (previously known as Gérard Becher Hall) is located at 11 Bezalel Street in Jerusalem. It offers a home and a stage for shows and performances of all cultural types, as well as a great space for holding conferences and art events. The Hall of Beit Ha'am hosts events with innovative style and atmosphere, right in the beating heart of downtown Jerusalem, surrounded by new academic institutions. The guests may also enjoy the spectacular exhibition telling the story of the Eichmann Trial (which took place here), offering an encounter with history that adds a little more atmosphere and makes the Beit Ha'am Cultural Hall the best choice for its visitors.

Productions and Events

From time to time, the center stages self-productions, as well as productions in collaboration with other entities. In addition to the initiated activities. The center hosts events from the "Israel Festival" and the"Jerusalem Festival of the Arts", educational activities, official governmental events, and all kinds of cooperations with organizations, producers, promoters, and others.

The Halls

There are 500 comfortable and pampering seats in the Gérard Behar Hall. It is armed with state-of-the-art technological equipment that ensures the highest quality of experience. The halls provide full solutions for the events, and conferences, addressing all the changing needs of each production. They are accessible for people with disabilities, have an audio system for the hearing impaired. Ana above all – provides a warm welcome and a special atmosphere. Sunday-Thursday: 09:00-17: 00

Cashier Services

An hour before and after the show. Saturday night and holidays: From one hour after the Shabbat ends and until one hour before the show starts.

Parking

Parking is available for the Hall’s guests in the adjacent and accessible"Menorah Parking". A vehicle entering the car park after 17:00 and leaving the car park until 08:00 the next day will pay a one-time fee of 14 NIS, or 10 NIS for Yerushalmi cardholders. (There may be changes in the parking details. The definitive information is the one presented on the entrance sign to the parking lot).

Yerushalmi Card

10% discount will be given to Yerushalmi cardholders who purchase tickets to events produced by the Beit Ha'am Cultural Hall. For those arriving by public transport 19 Egged line.
